The Americans won three of five Day 2 fourballs at the Quail Hollow course in Charlotte, North Carolina.
The United States increased their dominance over the international team on day two of the Presidents Cup taking place this week at Quail Hollow, Charlotte, North Carolina.
Already dominating (4-1) during the foursomes the day before, the Americans won three of the five fourballs on Friday’s program, to now lead 8-2. The first team to reach 15 1/2 points out of the 30 in play will win the competition.

Patrick Cantlay/Xander Schauffele (USA) beat Hideki Matsuyama/Joo-hyung Kim (JPN/KOR) 3 and 2
Billy Horschel/Max Homa (USA) beat Corey Conners/Taylor Pendrith (CAN) 1 up
The competition continues on Saturday with four more fourballs (two players per team, one ball per player) and four foursomes (two players per team, one ball per team played alternately by the players), and will end on Sunday with twelve individual matches.
