Meeting of the Joint Advisory Council on Ethics for the Judge-Lawyer Relationship

The Joint Advisory Council on Ethics for the Judge-Lawyer Relationship has decided to publish a single document drawn up from the three reports submitted on June 20, 2022. This single document is intended to be functional and manageable so that everyone can easily read it. . Representatives of registry staff will be associated with the drafting of this document.

The Joint Consultative Council on Ethics for the relationship between magistrates and lawyers also wished to initiate the organization of a common moment of meeting and reflection between magistrates, lawyers and registry staff, which would be held on the same day in all the jurisdictions. In addition to the symbolic importance of such a moment, the members of the Advisory Council are certain that it will be an opportunity to find and highlight many good practices and solutions.

Work will therefore continue in the coming months, in particular to implement these two projects.
