Man Builds Cozy Home For Stray Cat And Makes Sure She’s Safe Every Night With Camera

Stray cats are often hard to see. Nevertheless, some are content with their condition and in no way wish to become domestic tomcats. A man and his daughter spotted a mom and her cub visiting them regularly for food. If the kitten was able to be socialized and then adopted, its mother remained wild. It was therefore necessary to find a solution to guarantee his well-being.

Maria Cassano often visited his father residing in Long Island to United States.

The duo then repeatedly saw a cat and her cub in the backyard of the house.

The felines were desperately looking for food and a place to shelter.

Worried for them, they started feeding them while trying to tame them. The baby was receptive to this brand new show of affection. When he was weaned, he was adopted by the neighbor of the father of maria.

The mother, on the other hand, always remained at a distance. She reveled in the delicacies offered, but did not wish to be touched.

With winter fast approaching, it was necessary to act quickly to guarantee its safety.

A comfortable shelter

The father-daughter duo managed to catch the wild young lady in order to take her to the veterinary clinic. She was sterilized, vaccinated and identified there.

At the same time, the dad built him a cozy corner.

“My dad is very knowledgeable and although he’s not into having pets, he’s a really empathetic guy who likes to help. He bought the materials to build a heated house for cats. He then coated it with waterproof components, fabricated a base and erected it in the backyard.”has explained maria to Daily Cats.

The cat, named Mom, quickly moved into her cozy new home. But to make sure she had a full stomach and was safe every night, the Good Samaritan set up a camera to watch her from afar.

He thus captured adorable images of Mom sleeping long hours in the shelter of his personal home.

“She doesn’t go to my father’s house, but she knows us well now and accepts a few hugs when she eats”reported maria to the angels.

Since then, the man has installed other dens for tomcats in his garden which are, to date, all occupied. To believe that Mom passed the word on to his wandering congeners.
