It’s a new culinary adventure that begins at Laval (Mayenne) for Sarah Fisher, Diagne Biquet and Yann Ahmed Kelli. The three co-managers set themselves a new challenge. “When we met four years ago, we saw that we got along well. After a year of reflection, we decided to set up this concept, ”shares Sarah Fisher, the youngest of the three. “So we looked for a place and I came across this one. It’s attractive here, with the market and the busy street“, adds Diagne Biquet.
“Healthy food served quickly”
Also owners of the Lac rose tapas bar, Diagne Biquet and his brother Yann Ahmed Kelli want to bring something new to Laval residents. “We are opening this skewer restaurant because there are none in town. We want to offer world food that is both healthy and fast to serve“, explains Diagne, 31 years old. “We noticed around us that there was demand,” adds Sarah.
Beef, chicken, gluten-free…
À la carte, an assortment of skewers made with local products. “We offer skewers with a homemade marinade. There is beef, chicken, gluten-free, for vegetarians and also for vegans. There will also be skewers of the moment with seasonal products,” informs Diagne Biquet. “These skewers come with rice, noodles or sautéed quinoa with sauces to marry it all, ”slips Sarah Fisher, 25 years old.
The restaurant’s original concept is the Yu’guette. “It’s a formula that includes a skewer in half a baguette of fresh bread with a homemade sauce and a mixed salad. The Yummy Brochettes team is looking to recruit. “We are looking for a versatile full-time cook. »
