Flocky, Pepère, Louna and Lola are looking for a family

Flocky, a dog “who was unlucky”

At the dawn of his 12th birthday, Flocky needs caring and present masters. This Australian Shepherd cross has been going back and forth to the SPA refuge in Forbach since 2018… “He was a dog who was unlucky, the last time we found him tied to a tree”, testifies Leïla Mouilley, manager of the shelter. Very kind and affectionate, Flocky is a pleasant dog who loves walks! Given his age, Flockey suffers from urinary leakage at night. He needs calm which is why young children are to be avoided. He is classified as SOS Adoption*.

Pépère, a lively and affectionate shepherd cross

Pépère arrived at the Forbach refuge in March 2022. According to veterinarians, this pretty German Shepherd cross would be around 8 and a half years old. Unfortunately, Pépère is suffering from the onset of keratitis which affects both of his eyes. Therefore, it is necessary to avoid too abrupt approaches which could surprise him, especially in dark places. Young children are therefore not recommended, as are other animals. Pépère remains a lively dog who appreciates cuddles. Ideally, he would need a stair-free pavilion with access to the outdoors. He is classified as SOS Adoption.

Louna and Lola, the inseparable mini-maxi duo!

Louna and Lola form an inseparable pair. The two dogs, however, display diametrically opposed sizes, à la Laurel and Hardy… Louna is a Cane Corso, Lola a Bichon/Shar-Pei cross, as evidenced by her blue tongue! The two dogs, 10 and a half years old, grew up together and arrived at the shelter a few weeks ago, following a report of neglect. The shelter is looking for people present, able to welcome the female dogs together. The presence of children or other animals is, a priori, not prohibitive. “They get along very well, but you have to be careful when eating. Louna is very greedy and can take the upper hand over her little friend. They are also classified as SOS Adoption.
