Laurie Pouhier and her companion Mickaël Héron are about to take a breather 10 years of their catering activity in Saint-Pierre-Eglise (Manche), in the form of take away foodof wine merchant and D’deli. For this pivotal year, the couple has committed to the development of their business with the creation of a dining room.
Tables have been set up in the middle of vintage wines fromregional family farms from all over France, whiskey and rum from all over the world and ageless and necessarily local calvados. A beautiful trip during lunch time, in a particularly soothing setting.
A parenthesis in the heart of a cozy and warm atmosphere. Thus, recently, the large slate on which are proposed daily menus is out every morning. 2 starters, 2 dishes and 2 desserts renewed every day are therefore offered for the lunch service. It’s Michael trained pastry chef, companion of Laurie, who is in the kitchen. Stoves shared with Eric Pouhier, caterer from Vicq-sur-Mer, in the village of Réthoville.
A family adventure
It is therefore a beautiful family history that continues. “My father, who has been working as a caterer for many years, shares his laboratory with Mickaël. Everyone works on their menu in a distinct and independent way,” explains Laurie Pouhier.
This formula is based on the pooling of Eric Pouhier’s laboratory, a beautiful family story that further extends each other’s activities around the sharing of know-how of each one. At the same time as the creation of this dining room, the store also renewed.
We are developing our range of local products with the recent presence of vegetables from my aunt, Lydie Pouhier, a market gardener in Réthoville, and a whole range of cheeses and cream products from Isigny. The takeaway activity is also developed with the presence of Mickaël in the kitchen.
Laurie and Mickaël have just opened a new chapter of Les Délices de Laurie which, November 2022, therefore celebrates its 10 years of presence on the place of the Abbé Saint-Pierre. Les Délices de Laurie is celebrating its tenth year of activity with dynamism and greedto discover.
