Since September 29, Gaby, a spitz dog was missing and wanted by his mistress. The latter had published a search notice. The dog had been kidnapped while he was in a canine pension in Charente-Maritime while his owners were away on vacation.

The pension had been robbed and the thugs had left, in particular with the dog. It’s about only dog ​​to be kidnapped by the kidnappers on the quarantine of animals kept by the pension.

More than a month after his disappearance, the dog was found safe and sound, and returned to its owner, a septuagenarian who no longer expected to see her dog again.

An investigation by the Gendarmerie

The dog was found by a team from the Gendarmerie of Deux-Sèvres, the dog was wandering in the town of Cérizay. He was recovered by the Gendarmerie.

A person claiming to be the owner of the dog presented to the police to retrieve the animal. Shortly after, the real owner showed up but the dog was already no longer at the Gendarmerie.

The police therefore went retrieve the dog to return it to its true owner.
