A bewildering hit and run: a motorist fled on Thursday in Haute-Saône, after hitting a dog. But the owner of the dog, who kept him on a leash, was carried away by the shock and found himself on the hood of the car for at least 5 km, reports L’Est Républicain.
The facts took place around 7 p.m., on the D148, between Anjeux and La Pisseure. The dog’s owner ended up falling on the road, slightly injured. The car was then stopped by the pile of a bridge. The state of health of the dog was not specified by our colleagues.
Arrested by the gendarmes, the driver was taken into custody for aggravated violence and driving under narcotics.
