After coffee, chocolate and ice cream, Alain Ducasse is throwing himself headlong into a new adventure: the biscuit. Opening of the Biscuit Alain Ducasse scheduled for September 1st!
We don’t stop Alain Ducasse ! After having opened, over the past few years, a coffee factory, a chocolate factory, an ice cream factory and a tea room which brings together all these skills, now the star chef embarks on a new adventure: the biscuit !
On September 1, Le Biscuit Alain Ducasse is preparing to open its doors a stone’s throw from Chocolat Alain Ducasse and Café Alain Ducasse, in the 11th arrondissement of Paris. A highly gourmet place where it will be possible to savor a thirty cookies with an intense taste whose recipes have been developed by the Pastry Chef Flora Davies and the executive pastry chef Arnaud Coutret.
As usual, Alain Ducasse made it a point of honor to select high quality raw materialscarefully sourced from best producers. The butter thus comes from a farm in the Cotentin, the organic flours from Lot-et-Garonne, the butter is made with Guérande salt, the honey from Chambron, the citrus fruits come from Corsica; while coffee, ice cream and chocolate come, of course, from the different chef’s factories.
Among the sweets that you will be able to taste from September 1st, let’s mention the cookie-bars with their candied orange and hazelnut inserts for one, cocoa nibs and Peruvian chocolate ganache for the second, and finally dates, apricots, figs, grapes and cranberries for the third; of the praline discs with hazelnut and pistachio and pucks candied orange and lemon; of the tablets toasted buckwheat and chia seed bites; or even hexa cookies hexagonal in shape.
Other marvels that already entice us, the traditional baked cookies of the Manufacture that we imagine to be incredible, but also the quick cookies, the most pastry version of shortbread, made to order in chocolate, hazelnut or lemon. L’sweet address not to be missed in this back to school !
