Fabrice and Régine Piegay spent their last shift on Friday at the head of the bar-tabac-restaurant Le Suc’hulant in “Malataverne” in the town of Beaux.
Seventeen years. This is the time spent by the managers of Suc’hulant, Fabrice and Régine Piegay. Then parents of two young children, the two young Yssingelais took over the tobacco-press then called Chez Jacky and opened their first business.
Convinced of the potential of commerce, they developed the restaurant business after an experience at the Petite Auberge in Yssingeaux.
The rest, we know. An undeniable professional success which was accentuated with the creation of the car park and a terrace in 2019.
The time has come for the couple to turn the page and move towards new projects, in particular at the agricultural school in Yssingeaux for Fabrice.
The two traders remain attached to the village of “Malataverne” since they have bought a house. “We had a great time here. It is a family that we are leaving. »
Le Suc’hulant will close for a few days and is due to reopen in November with two new associates, Henry Ducray and Sophie Mounier, two residents of Beaux.
