Following a thrilling match, it was the United States that earned their ticket to the AmeriCup semi-finals after beating Puerto Rico 85-84 with a game-winning shot from the former Monaco and Villeurbanne player, Norris Cole (1.88 m, 33 years old).

Jeremy Pargo had 11 points to lead the USA score in the first half, while Puerto Rico’s Twin Towers George Conditt and Ismael Romero had 12 points through the first two quarters.
