Since October 8, 2022, a new restaurant has opened its doors in Marmande, opposite the station, at Boulevard Gambetta.

From Bordeaux at heart, Argentinian by birth, Claude Ndikwedi (39) arrives in Marmande with a lot of desire. In particular that of proposing a new culinary style.

A mix between my travels and the cooking of my mother, who passed on her know-how to me.

However, cooking is a real fulfillment for this son of a former diplomat, who has many strings to his bow. Indeed, he is also a singer-songwriter; painter ; and is passionate about urban music.

But his nimble fingers allow him in any case to offer a cuisine that does not exist in Marmande: afro-fusion (a technique which consists of mixing products from one country with the techniques of another, editor’s note) .

If he had a crush on the city of tomatoes, Claude Ndikwedi hopes that his “dishes in sauce” will seduce the Marmandais. “Some people say they are delighted with the arrival of this culinary style, so I hope it will last,” he prays.

There is enthusiasm in this boy. A real motivation and it shows. Today, it offers two starters, two main courses, desserts and drinks. The dishes ? Okra beef and lemon chicken (yassa in Senegal).

This restaurant means a lot to Claude: “Eating healthy is essential for me. My cooking is part of the spirit of sharing. I want to do good to people, it’s important”.

Also, the name of his business is a diminutive of the first name of his son and daughter. Proof that the Bordelais are keen to succeed in Marmande.
