Always on the lookout for unusual food concepts in the capital, we couldn’t miss the Noori restaurant, which is scheduled to open on September 19, in the heart of rue du Faubourg Saint-Martin. In this shop decorated like an authentic Japanese tavern, you can taste an amazing dish, commonly called “tacosushi”. We will explain everything to you !
Noori: unusual recipes and an authentic atmosphere
After the horizontal kebab, the street food in cups or even the “bronuts”, it is a new food trend that is a tad eccentric that we are presenting to you today… Noori arrives in Paris with its astonishing concept of tacosushi. Far from being a simple fusion between taco and sushi, this unusual dish is the creation of chef Yann Rousselot, French sushi champion in 2018! The secret of this creation with a surprising taste and texture? Lightly fried nori seaweed, Japanese rice, a delicious piece of raw or cooked fish and a multitude of fresh toppings. Available in several recipes and even in a vegetarian version, tacosushi has everything to surprise you! We will accompany the dish with a little sweet note with small mochis, a yuzu pana cotta or a matcha tiramisu and we will have all the ingredients for a great meal!
And beyond the plate, it’s a real and authentic experience that awaits you… In an underground atmosphere, which reminds us of an izakaya nestled in a Japanese alley, you can sit down among Japanese lanterns and posters. An innovative dish inspired by Japanese street food, the cuisine of an acclaimed chef and an exotic atmosphere: these are all the ingredients that make up Noori’s recipe. All that remains is to test…
